Like you, we love the way OBX makes you feel. Before settling down here we were yearly vacationers to these beautiful beaches; even renewing our wedding vows on our 25th Anniversary. This is a special place, and getting to spend a few moments with you while you’re here is an honor for us.
We take your experience seriously and want to provide wonderful memories for you and your family during your visit. We are the Gillespie’s; Michelle, Duane, Dylan, Mackenzie, and Dalton; along with our lab Mindy and our mini Dachshunds Cooley and Bella.
As a family we strive to give back. Our love for dogs and giving back has brought us to Canine Companions. In 2023 we became puppy raisers and are now raising our 2nd dog for them in hopes to have them graduate and become someone's loyal companion to provide a life of greater independence. It has been most rewarding to see how these dogs impact the lives of so many and we are very thankful to be a part of this program.
In support of Canine Companions we will be raising funds for them here at Kill Devil’s. If you feel the love to participate in a great cause we will be offering a round up your check program and all the money collected will go directly to Canine Companions. Canine Companions is a leader in the service dog industry giving clients and their dogs a life with greater independence. They provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings.
